Education is like a garden everything needs room to grow.
We cannot close our minds to new ideas and we need to make sure that as teachers we create an environment where all of our students can grow and prosper. Just like a garden is a warm and welcoming place to grow so to should our classrooms.
Alex, you are off to a great start with this metaphor. you can build on this by describing what a teacher will do and what is expected of students.
